Donna Doucette comments on Jim's experience

Donna Doucette writes this on her FaceBook page this evening: "I spoke with Jim a little while ago. He doesn't want to leave - he said there is so much more to do. He said he feels Lauren will do a wonderful job as team leader when he leaves. 


"He met so many wonderful Haitian men, women and children-tears have already been shed for him leaving. Jim made friends with a young Haitian man. Jim noticed him reading alot and found out he was reading the Bible. He has helped him in many ways (got the tv and the mattress for Jim) so Jim gave him some cash he had in his pocket- totaled about $15. The young man returned with a Bible for Jim that he purchased with the money Jim had given to him for his own use. Can you imagine...this is one of the reasons Jim told me he will have such a hard time leaving. He will miss the singing before dawn and the feeling that the Lord has been with them all right along, every minute of every day."
