Team 3 is on the way to Sata Domingo
Team 3 is airborne thanks to the concerted efforts of a dozen or more people who helped get 89 bags of medical and other supplies to JFK. Team leader Carolyn Lang brought along 1,100 tootsie pops given to her by friends.
After arriving in Santa Domingo in the middle of the night, the team will load their gear on our friend Hugo's bus and head west. Once again, they will stop at the Dominican Republic market to pick up food, this time $1,600 worth of beans, rice, oil, water and fuel.
Once in Port-au-Prince, they will be met across from the American Embassy by Luc Louisgene and his crew in trucks and buses to transfer everything to our Clinic in Carrefour. Blessings & Peace to Team 3 for their dedication and good spirit.
We continue to be grateful to JetBlue for their incredible beneficence during this tragic time in Haiti. Thanks, too, to the many, many people who donated medical supplies, health & wellbeing supplies, and money to make this third trip possible. If you haven't seen Ann Giuli's pictures, go back to the Old St. Andrew's webiste and click on the link. They are quite compelling.
