Friday, 1.15.10 - 7.30 p.m.

(update Friday, 1.15.10 - 7.30 p.m.)

Jean-Elie called to say he had spoken with Mona for a very brief time this afternoon before the connection cut of. She is OK and still at the School. She confirmed that the School building has survived pretty well. Good news in the midst of tragedy. Jean-Elie & some of his family will be at OSA on Sunday. This is a real blessing because we can, again, appreciate the incredible gifts of this faithful man, his compassion, vision, and generosity. Also at OSA on Sunday will be WFSB (Channel 3). They interviewed me today for a spot on the 5.30 News and Sunday they will anchor their Morning Show from Old St. Andrew's.

Dozens of people have been in touch with OSA and offered concern and help. We have more and more partnerships--St. John's, Stamford, Christ Church, Greenwich, St. Andrew's, Kent, St. John's, East Windsor, The Metropolitan Learning Center, Bloomfield, and more ... even CVS!!!

(update Friday, 1.15.10 - 12.10 p.m.)

Since Thursday we have received $2,100 in checks with pledges for another $6,000. Contributions and pledges continue to come in. Thank you!
