Team 4 Delayed a Day

Travel plans have delayed the departure of Team 4 until tomorrow, Thursday, February 18. Team Leader George Momplaisir, Isaac Jean-Pierre, both Haitian-Americans on the Stamford police force, Canadian nurse Carol Keith, handyman Bill Grace, from East Windsor, Claire Harden, a nurse sponsored by the United Haitian American Society, plus journalist Tracy Simmons (creedible.com) and photo journalist Rebecca Newman will now arrive at the Clinic on Friday. 

Special thanks this morning to three incredible volunteer coordinators--Coulette Lioce, Gia Card, and Gus Schlegel--who may not be going to Haiti but who accomplish every bit as much as our volunteers in Carrefour. Without them we would be unable to sustain our relief effort and medical presence. Gus & Sheelagh Schlegel (photo) coordinate our supplies & logistics.
