Snow & Ice. Plane's delayed


Since Joanne's plane is delayed, I thought I'd post this note I wrote back to Diane Desmarais who asked about sending school supplies.

"YES, Diane. It is the time for school supplies. That said, I am concerned that we will get so many school supplies we cannot use them all. we may only have room for 30 or 40 children. People love to give school things. Additionally important is money so we can buy food for the lunch program and pay the teachers’ salaries. I know this doesn’t feel as connected as getting construction paper and crayons, but it is so vitally important to reopening École le Bon Samaritain. I’m sure you understand. Checks to Old Sr. Andrew’s with Haiti on the memo line."
