On Tuesday morning, Michael Pavia, the mayor of Stamford held his first City workers meeting at Government Center and he invited Dr. David Reed, nurse Ann Giuli, Pam Koprowski, Danelie Millien from our relief efforts to join them.

Dr. Reed spoke for about 15 minutes as he showed some very dramatic slides from his time in Haiti with Team 1. Ann Giuli also spoke and repeated what she had told the Haitian congregation at Eglise d'Ascension in Carrefour on a Sunday morning several weeks ago, "You are the most resilient people and it is a pleasure to know you all."

City workers met police officers George Momplaisir and Isaac Jean-Pierre who are members of Team 4. Mayor Pavia and police chief Bob   The Stamford Advocate covered the meeting.
