Selfless Branford volunteer


A few weeks ago a young woman from North Branford contacted Tracy Simmons and said she has medical supplies to donate. She is unemployed and doesn't have money to give, so she went door-to-door in her neighborhood and collected supplies from her neighbors. So much, in fact, that she ran out of boxes. 


I spoke to her just now and found out she's been in the hospital the past three days, which has slowed her collection process. This woman, it turns out, has no job because she is terminally ill. Yet, tomorrow morning she plans to make one final round and meet me to exchange the donations after she gets home from the doctor. Pretty selfless, huh?
