A FaceBook entry from Donna Doucette
Donna Doucette, Jim's wife, is as deeply involved in our rebuilding project as anybody. She posted this on her Facebook page this morning. Very powerful.
"I spoke with Jim this morning he is doing well - he has made friends with many and has had lots of hugs. He said he has no fear because even though he doesn't speak the language - you can still communicate and laugh. He said he will be sad to leave - he said his work is not done yet. I have had so many people contact me and ask about how to donate and what to donate. I tell them $ will always be needed but clothing, too. I had donations from a young woman from our campground who's 5mo old baby died last October bring me boxes of clothing and stuffed animals -she said she felt good about donating to someone who needs things so badly. God bless her an her little Timothy. People are helping in so many different ways. I wish we were wealthy so we could travel there on a regular basis to help - Jim would do that if he could. If only we didn't need to work to survive!"
