Stephanie just called to say that her uncle came from Carrefour to Port au Prince and reported that Mona was alive. She is still in the neighborhood and at the school. The school was NOT destroyed as earlier reported. Giovanni used his UN status to call with this news. Needless to say, Jean-Elie and all of his family are greatly relieved.
