Tracy Simmons receives more support for GSRF

Tracy Simmons, a journalist and keeper of Creedible.com, continues to be deeply involved in our relief effort. Consider what came this morning:

"I wanted to share with you how exciting things have been on my end regarding the Good Samaritan Rebuilding Fund. Post University continues to collect items and, per Gus's request, is looking especially hard for tents and sleeping bags. One of my students actually went and posted it on Craigslist, with a link to both the OSA blog and to Creedible. This afternoon I'm giving a presentation to the campus Bible Study about the program, who seem eager to help. I've also had three or four people, including one nurse, who have asked if they could volunteer to go to Carrefour in the future.

"I visited
St. Andrews ELCA in Bristol yesterday for worship and was amazed to see they've put the GSRF in their church bulletin. They have boxes set up throughout the church for donations and they are full. I'm picking them up on Feb. 15.

"Finally, a Creedible reader contacted me and has collected diapers, shelters and other goods for the Fund. I'm going to meet with her this week to pick it up."
